FAQs

It depends on your goals and starting point, but most clients notice meaningful changes within the first 2–4 weeks — more energy, less bloating, better sleep, and improved mood are often the first things to shift. Deeper changes like hormonal balance, skin improvements, and gut healing typically take 6–12 weeks of consistent work. Real, lasting results take time — but you won't be waiting long to start feeling a difference.

Nutrition is one of the most powerful tools we have for hormonal health — and the research backs it up. What you eat directly affects how your body produces, metabolizes, and eliminates hormones. For many women, targeted nutrition changes can significantly reduce symptoms of PCOS, PMS, perimenopause, thyroid issues, and estrogen imbalances. Nutrition isn't always the only piece of the puzzle, but it is almost always a critical one.
-
Absolutely. Nutrition is one of the most evidence-backed tools for supporting reproductive health and fertility. From optimizing key nutrients like folate, iron, CoQ10, and omega-3s to balancing blood sugar, reducing inflammation, and supporting ovulation — what you eat has a direct impact on your hormonal environment and egg quality. Whether you're actively trying to conceive, preparing your body, or managing a condition like PCOS that affects fertility, I can help you build a nutrition foundation that supports your reproductive goals.

Yes — and this is one of the most common concerns I see. Bloating is your body's way of telling you something isn't quite right, whether that's a food sensitivity, an imbalanced gut microbiome, low stomach acid, constipation, or hormonal shifts. We'll get to the root of what's causing yours specifically and address it through targeted nutrition changes, meal timing strategies, and gut-supportive foods and supplements. Most clients see a significant improvement in bloating within the first few weeks.

A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is a licensed healthcare professional who has completed an accredited degree program, a supervised clinical internship, and passed a national board exam. The title "nutritionist" is not regulated and does not require any specific training or credentials. As an RDN, I am qualified to provide medical nutrition therapy, interpret labs, and work alongside your healthcare team — something an unregulated nutritionist cannot legally do.

The best first step is booking a free 15-minute discovery call. We'll chat about your health goals, I'll answer any questions you have, and together we'll figure out which program or service is the right fit for you. No pressure, no commitment — just a conversation. You can book your call directly from the Work With Me page.

Your initial consultation is 75 minutes and is all about getting to know you. We'll go through your full health history, current symptoms, medical background, relationship with food, and your goals — both short and long term. I'll also review any supplements or medications you're taking and provide individualized recommendations. By the end of the session, you'll have a clear picture of your next steps and a personalized nutrition plan to get started with right away.

I am currently a self-pay practice, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide you with a superbill (a detailed receipt with the necessary billing codes) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Many PPO plans offer out-of-network benefits for nutrition counseling — I recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card to check your specific coverage before we get started.
